Custard with kafir lime
This dessert greatly improves the flavor thanks to the kafir lime, a citrus that I had not tasted and that I loved its flavor as much as its smell. I have to thank my son for the gift of this and other citrus fruits unknown to me.
Custard with lime kafir
600 g. of almond milk
75 g. of brown sugar
30 g. of cornstarch
The shell of a kafir lime
We reserve a glass of milk and the rest we put to the fire with the kafir lime peel and the sugar.
We beat with the blender, eggs and cornstarch and reserve.
Before the milk starts to boil we put out the fire and let a little more time take the taste of the kafir lime.
We remove the peel and add the milk with the eggs and cornstarch that we have reserved.
Mix well and put the saucepan back on fire while stirring with some rods, until it thickens.
